Studio Theatre of Long Island

Two Brand New Theatre's on Long Island - Manes Studio Theatre in Lindenhurst  and  Studio Theatre East in East Islip

Studio Theatre of Long Island is thrilled to run its second year of Summer Theatre Camp at Fireman’s Memorial Park in Lindenhurst. Our camp is geared towards young actors returning to the stage for a summer of fun, or aspiring performers stepping into the spotlight for the very first time.

Studio Theatre’s professional teaching staff will work with your children to guarantee they have the best summer ever, while maintaining current CDC guidelines and recommendations to ensure their safety. The camp day is spent rehearsing the show (acting, singing, dancing) as well as theatre games, sports, arts and crafts plus various exciting indoor activities. We also have special themed days which can include surprise activities such as water games to cool down on hot days. We spend the summer working as a team to produce a full stage production, complete with full sets and costumes, and brand new state of the art lighting and sound systems.

Built into the price of camp we offer a full hot lunch every day with snacks and beverages included and an additional option of sandwiches, salads, fruits and dessert. Note: all food is prepared on site in our kitchen facility daily.

Studio Theatre Summer Theatre Camp is designed to be a theatre kid's dream come true. We look forward to bringing you a truly wonderful experience dedicated to your your child's happiness, health and personal development.

This clever and inventive play never goes more than a minute without a laugh giving you a new look at a familiar adventure from the perspective of three potential heroes just trying to make it through a magic school that proves to be very dangerous for children.

Disney Channel's smash hit movie musical comes to life on your stage in Disney's High School Musical! Troy, Gabriella and the students of East High must deal with issues of first love, friends and family while balancing their classes and extra curricular activities.

It's the first day after winter break at East High. The Jocks, Brainiacs, Thespians and Skater Dudes find their cliques, recount their vacations and look forward to the new year. Basketball team captain and resident jock, Troy, discovers that the brainy Gabriella, a girl he met singing karaoke on his ski trip, has just enrolled at East High. They cause an upheaval when they decide to audition for the high school musical, led by Ms. Darbus. Although many students resent the threat posed to the "status quo," Troy and Gabriella's alliance might just open the door for others to shine as well.
